Talk about a grand entrance. Boeing half a billion euros, Neymar (31) arrived in Saudi Arabia. He received a mild reception, but his XXL presentation caught the imagination even more. The Brazilian dodgy butt was introduced in a packed stadium.
look. Neymar arrives at Boeing in Saudi Arabia
The next star has arrived. Neymar set foot in Saudi Arabia on Friday night. Not entirely surprisingly, it was greeted with bells and whistles. It really started with the type of transport that the Brazilian crossed. It can be impressive. His new club, Al-Hilal, sent a Boeing 747 to Paris to pick up Neymar. He made an airplane – the price is 500 million euros.
The plane – which includes a dining room, luxurious sofas and benches, several small bedrooms and … a golden throne in the center – is not owned by the club, but is leased by Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, a Saudi billionaire who has a huge fan of Al-Hilal. The luxury Boeing aircraft has been restored in a Middle Eastern style and is used to fly to outdoor games.
Neymar was immediately greeted by a crowd of photographers and journalists as he got out of the car. He was handed a scarf at the first shots. Sign autographs at the airport.
Neymar was presented to the public on Saturday evening before the match against Al-Fayhaa. A performance that was advertised as a “super-sized show” and lived up to its name. Fireworks, drone show, live music: everything was there. They made it an honor that it should be bigger, and get more media attention, than Cristiano Ronaldo’s victory display. Neymar was scheduled to make his debut against Al-Raed on August 24.
