Britney Spears lost credibility in mid-August. A housekeeper had filed a complaint against her because the singer was said to have been violent during an argument with her dogs. The housekeeper told TMZ that she took a dog to the vet after discussions about animal care. When she got home, she confronted Britney about the situation. Then he would take the housekeeper’s phone out of his hands. Then the woman turned to the police, who opened an investigation into a “very light assault”.
The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office has decided not to file criminal charges against the singer. The US attorney general said there was not enough evidence of a crime. The housekeeper was not injured in the accident and her phone is not damaged.
Matthew Rosengart, the singer’s attorney, says this was purely sensational news that was haunted by the tabloids. Anyone can make accusations, but that shouldn’t have gone that far. We are glad that the Public Prosecution Office did the right thing. We sincerely hope that the media and others will have greater respect for Ms. Spears in the future.”
