Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is available for download and comes with an updated Battle Pass system

Tonight at 19:00, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 officially launches and if you are near your PlayStation or Xbox, we recommend that you play it. Earlier this afternoon the download went live, and with 70GB it may take a while before the game downloads.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is a separate client from Call of Duty: Warzone. Because of this, you will have to start all over again in this game. Nothing from the previous part is transferrable. In addition, the original will also be out for 12 days today to return on November 28 as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera.

Along with the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, Season 1 also begins today. This also automatically means entering a new Battle Pass and the system has been modified in this regard. Instead of a linear path towards level 100, you will now see a grid called the “Battle Map”.

Depending on how far you are in the Battle Pass, you can choose your rewards. To prevent players from immediately unlocking the “valuable” content, the combat map is divided into different sectors that must be unlocked first.
