Several major banks are predicting a recession in the US in the first half of 2024. In Europe, a recession is almost certain.
Why is this important?
The US economy and, to a lesser extent, the European region in 2023 will surprise many analysts. However, they do not rule out a recession in 2024, quite the contrary. The good news for markets is that a slowdown means central banks will cut interest rates more quickly.In the message: Europe and America are at risk of entering recession.
