Karl Hofkens is the new coach of NAC Breda. The former T1 of Club Brugge and Standard will try to revive the career of a former Club Brugge player.
At NAC Breda, Carl Hofkens will first and foremost have to make sure his club stays in the Eredivisie. They have just been promoted to the highest division in the Netherlands.
He will now have to look for reinforcements in the transfer market. Just as he did at Standard, by bringing in Kamal Sowah, among others, Karl Hofkens is once again looking for players he knows from his previous experiences.
At NAC Breda, the player who knew Hofkens from his time at Club Brugge will try to revive his career. The club announced this on its social media.
Brendan Schonbert will go on trial at NAC, and the 24-year-old Belgian defender will train with NAC in the coming period. The club’s social media said: Good luck Brendan!
After playing for two seasons at Knokke, Brendan Schoonbaert is now a free agent. He played in the youth series at Club Brugge, before opting for adventures at Lommel, Dainze and Waasland-Beveren.
