At Club Brugge, they have to take into account the early departure of Alfred Schroeder. The name Hein Vanhaezebrouck has been mentioned regularly in recent days, but they have other alternatives.
They will be particularly fascinated by Al Ittihad coach Felice Mazu at the club. In the past, the Success Coach was already associated with, among other things, AA Gent and Standard, but also Club Brugge. This interest has reportedly not really disappeared.
Switching from Union to Club is not unrealistic. The PhD student will lose a lot of strongholds after the season so it will be difficult to start the season with an equally strong team. Deniz Undav has already signed with Brighton, but Dante Vanzer and Kasper Nielsen also appear ready for a step higher.
That could of course play into Matsu’s decision. The club has already won three top players in the winter with Skov Olsen, Buchanan and Odoi. This week, 19-year-old Major was also brought in. If Alfred Schroeder leaves, there’s a good chance we’ll soon see Hein Vanheisbrück or Phyllis Matsu in Jan Bridl.
