Earlier this summer, Microsoft announced that it would make the dreams of many Xbox fans a reality when it revealed that it would be making actual mini-fridges modeled on the Xbox Series X console. Many people have, but Xbox hasn’t said much about the state of its refrigerator release in recent months. Fortunately, it looks like production on this project is still going well and should be on track for release before the end of 2021.
In a recent social media interaction, Xbox GM Aaron Greenberg was asked about the state of the Xbox Series X mini fridges. In response, Greenberg reiterated that Xbox employees still plan to release the mini device sometime before the end of the year. “On the right track for a holiday, we’ll be sharing more soon if we can!” Greenberg said to investigate.
On our way to vacation, we’ll be sharing more soon if we can!

At this point, we’re still in the dark when it comes to the Xbox Series X mini fridge. For starters, the release date is something a lot of fans have been asking about. Additionally, Xbox hasn’t said much about the true cost of these units nor revealed where fans can buy them. In all likelihood, a launch directly through Microsoft seems likely, although there is a possibility that this refrigerator will also appear in stores.
Regardless of the finer details, it’s good to see Xbox very committed to releasing this somewhat silly product later this year, as promised. As we learn more about the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge, we’ll be sure to let you know here at ComicBook.com.
