Punt Welzijn will hold an informational meeting on “Coping with dementia for carers” on Tuesday 14 March, which will be presented by Home instead of the Home Service.
When you care for someone with dementia, you also have to deal with many other things in addition to practical things such as caring and household chores. Your loved one may begin to behave differently and the previously equal relationship will turn more and more into a caring one. Illness can cause your vision of the future to look different than you once thought and you can also worry about the other person. This way, practically and emotionally, all kinds of things come to you. Knowledge and sharing of experience can help you deal with the situation.
