We may not have the money to live there ourselves, but we all love to look at and dream about a gorgeous home. That’s why we feature Amazing Home every Wednesday. This week is a villa in Bali that has been captured by nature.
Architects love to show off their most important creations, but the designer of this villa immediately knew he had to put his ego aside when he got behind his desk to paint a house in this setting. The plot of land was surrounded by greenery, with a forest plot on one side and paddy fields on the other. It made him realize that in such a place the house should not claim a very prominent role.
With this in mind, use nature as an architectural element and coordinate garden and residence design. The house is surrounded by tropical trees, some of which are close to the façade filled with hanging plants. You have a view of the greenery from every room and feel that you are one with the environment.
Many natural materials were also used in the construction and furnishing, such as black river stones, thatch and tropical hardwoods. The addition of dark floors and walls in different colors enhances the whole. This line has been kept outside in the infinity pool where you enjoy complete privacy. The rooftop terrace offers a 180-degree view.
If you are planning a trip to Bali and still looking for a place to stay, this is the right place for you, because Villa Mana is rented as a vacation home. There are seven bedrooms, but you can also book a smaller five-bedroom section. To give you an idea: in the first case you pay around 7,500 euros per week, and in the second around 7,000 euros. click here for more information.
