Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift, Bella Hadid, Elton John: These are just a few of the celebrities who have really put their feet under the table. So getting a reservation in Sketch is not so easy. The London restaurant has grown into an absolute hot spot since it opened its doors in 2014. There’s nothing against chef Pierre Gagnaire’s culinary skills, but the Instagram-worthy pink interior has something to offer. Even the cool toilet is a convenient place to take selfies.

However, it is the velvet chairs, best described as giant pink marshmallows, for which the restaurant is most famous. At the time, it was a bold move, because pink didn’t have the same status as it did today when Sketch opened. “I don’t mean to show off, but I totally changed the way people look at pink,” said French-Iranian designer India Mahdavi, who was allowed to wear the store’s clothes in 2014.

Originally the chairs were supposed to last for two years, but thanks to Instagram they gained such cult status that they were eventually allowed to stay in place for six years.

But all good songs end. At the beginning of this year, the company underwent a complete renovation and replaced the pink chairs with yellow chairs. Fortunately, the gems were not tossed in the garbage. If you’re willing to pay a few cents, it can soon become part of your home.
