Danzel presents a new summer single and woman on Polish TV: “Poland is my second home” | music

Polish TV channel TZN invited Danzel and his wife Kathleen to present his new summer song The Best Last Night on Dzień Dbory TZN’s morning show. He also announced a new album that will be released in fall 2023. And he had more happy news. “Next year marks the 20th anniversary of ‘Pump it up’ and my music career,” he says. “I heard I’m famous in Poland, I play three times today. I don’t know how it happened, but Poland has always been one of the most important markets for me. This is my second home.” Danzel won the Polish TV show Your Face Looks Familiar last year.

With his new summer single The Best Last Night, Johan Waem – Danzel’s real name – wants to encourage people to engage in more real social connections than virtual ones. “Most people forget to meet others. They constantly use their smartphones and follow social media. It worries me that people who come to my parties are watching it directly through their phone’s camera, instead of experiencing the party with their own eyes. The song is about how we should go back to the time it was In it we have more real social contacts than virtual ones. Live your life and enjoy it as if it were the last best night of your life.”

Danzel’s wife Kathleen, to whom he has been married for twenty-eight years, accompanies the singer to Poland as often as possible. When asked about the condition of the singer in private, he replied: “I usually cook at home, I really like it. At home I am not an artist. So I am an ordinary person who does what others do.
