Last week, my top 3 games of 2021 were already published on the website, but of course there are not only winners. So now my failure 3. I think it’s good to mention that these are not necessarily bad games. These games didn’t bring me what I had hoped for.
Number 3:
Third place is MotoGP 21. It’s a game that certainly shouldn’t be seen as bad, but while playing I found that I don’t have much with MotoGP. Where I can really enjoy racing on four wheels, this turns out to be a lot less on two wheels. For example, balancing your device is not something I really like. In addition, MotoGP 21 puts it ahead of the big contender and perhaps the most comparable material on a four-wheeler in terms of possibilities and design: F1 2021. Again, it’s certainly not a bad game, but it’s nothing.
Hell:
In second place we find Hell Let Loose. The first word in the title immediately describes how you experienced the game, like hell. I described it earlier in my review: but to me the game looks more like a four-day evening simulation. After each time you die, you can start over with a long walk ahead. Plus, I found the WWII shooter ugly to the eye. This game ended up on my digital shelf pretty quickly.
winner ah loser
The biggest winner or loser, depending on which way you look at it, in this list is Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Much has been said and written about this game, but very little has been positive. This is also important to me. When this trilogy was announced, I was really looking forward to it. However, this disappeared like snow in the sun after the first playing session. Rockstar couldn’t have come up with a cheaper way to raise money in my opinion. The original titles have been polished up a bit here and thrown into the store with minimal effort. It feels cheap in every respect, there are weird bugs and it still looks old. In addition, all atmospheres have been removed from the games. A series that could have given me so much fun, ended with a huge disappointment. This is why Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is the failure of the year in my opinion.
