All my life, ever since I realized this, I’ve been trying to be mindful of my impact as a person on our planet. Not only in terms of climate, but also in terms of pollution in general. It is true that I ended up in the field of winter sports, so my hands were definitely not clean, which I am also aware of and often causes problems. But I don’t think we’re going to change anything in the near future…so idk why don’t I just enjoy what’s still possible and see what comes next. But what I think is important is that we understand where we are and where we are going. Not that we’re going to say right away… “we didn’t know”!

I try to keep that in mind. Although I understand that it has a natural effect on the climate, as well as all other types of holidays, it is also a holiday where you are less aware of the state of the climate. However, there are already many winter sports areas that use entirely green energy from solar, wind and/or reservoirs. This is particularly easy to achieve in the mountains, where the sun provides more energy and water naturally collects in places and has a large potential energy due to elevation differences.
