Anders Dreyer joined RSC Anderlecht in January. Good transfer for Friedberg and Riemer.
RSC Anderlecht made some interesting transfers during the winter transfer season. Anders Dreyer can certainly be called successful. At his former club FC Midtjylland, he has already told the story of the first months.
“It went well. It was a good spring for me and the team. Unfortunately, we lost some games at the end, so we missed the top eight and so we already have a summer break. Personally, I’m happy and I’m playing a lot, so that’s great.”
Especially the fact that he plays so much makes Dreyer think he made the right decision. Dreyer added, “I’m glad I came to a club where you feel – just like Midtjylland – it means something to the fans every weekend.”
Returning to Denmark in the future is definitely one possibility. “You never have to say ‘never’ in football. I learned that very quickly after moving to Russia, and then all of a sudden I came back to Midtjylland and I was so happy about it. It’s a place I love to visit – even now – and which I’ve appreciated a lot in recent years. I’m not going to say never ever’.”
