Brussels Music Festival Core announced the first names. Angèle and Alt-J, among others, will come to Ossegempark at the end of May.
Brussels pop singer Angèle will play another home game on Saturday, May 27, at the Core Theatre. The two-day festival – a collaboration between Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter – is only in its second edition, but the first names announced today aren’t the least. Alongside Angèle, British rapper Alt-J and American rapper Anderson.Paak (ex-NxWorries with fellow Knxwledge) will also appear at the foot of the Atomium.
Just like last year, the festival brings a mix of pop, indie, hip hop and electronica. The eclectic collection is complemented by Charlotte Adigiri and Polis Popole, Goldband, The Blessed Madonna, Romy, HAAi, DOMi & JD Beck, Denis Sulta, Honey Dijon, Kokoroko and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
The festival attracted 40,000 visitors last year. Unlike the first edition, which took place on Friday and Saturday, the festival will be moved to two weekends, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May. Pre-show starts Friday at 11am, more works to be announced at a later date.
