The mysterious area, to which it seems you don’t just pass through the Site of Grace checkpoint, is full of mist and water. You will also find monk-like enemies trying to defeat you with magical and melee attacks.
The battle you see shows a magic attack that the guard has never seen before in any gameplay video. You can create a kind of smoke screen for your enemies, making them look confused for a short while. You can take advantage of that moment, for example, by performing a stab attack, as you can see in the video.
In addition to combat, a new way of exploration is presented in the video. In The Lands Between, the dead are no longer bound to their graves, allowing the player to summon them. But ghosts are also in the world to help the player, as you can see in the second half of the video. Ghost shows the player the way to one of the many small dungeons that can be found in the game world.
Elden Ring will release on February 25th on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, S, Xbox One, and PC. If only the watch had a time machine to travel to the end of February…
