European Championship Qualifiers
England flexed their muscles in the European Championship qualifiers. Against Macedonia, the “Three Lions” shone their perfect report with a 7-0 stomping down against North Macedonia.
Harry Styles took Wembley for a concert, so the England national team had to move to Old Trafford for their European Championship qualifier against North Macedonia.
The change of decor did not bother the English. After half an hour the dam broke for the visitors. Kane, Saka and Rashford were 3-0 up on the scoreboard before half-time.
Saka was not satisfied with one goal and hit twice after the end of the first half to complete his hat-trick.
North Macedonia was counted out a long time ago, but Calvin Phillips (with his first goal) and Kane (with a penalty kick) showed no mercy and brought the score to seven strokes.
Mbappe misses a penalty, but gets a second chance to beat Greece
France did not deal easily with Greece. The vice world champion called for a penalty kick three times in the first half, but the referee did not bite.
If the ball hits the knee after the break, Kylian Mbappe misses eleven meters. The star French striker was lucky because the Greeks were in the penalty area very early on and he was given a second chance. The second time he was lucky: Mbappe gave France the full spoils.
