Enjoy an immersive, intelligent audio experience with the latest updates for Galaxy Buds – Samsung Newsroom Belgium

The new hands-free, AI-powered features in the Galaxy Buds series not only deliver a crystal-clear audio experience, but also connect users to the heart of the Samsung ecosystem. Whether the Galaxy Buds are paired with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Book4 series, or Samsung TVs, new AI capabilities make users more in tune with the world around them.

Communication without obstacles

The newly launched Galaxy S24 series with Galaxy AI technology opens the door to a world of limitless communication between diverse cultures. With this innovation, language barriers have become a thing of the past. The latest updates to the Galaxy Buds series make these smart capabilities even easier to use.

translator

Instant Translator enables real-time translation on the Galaxy S24 series. In conjunction with the Galaxy Buds, connectivity is further improved with audio separation during calls. When a person listens to the translation through their headphones, their conversation partner hears it through the phone's speaker. Additionally, the speaker arrangement can be easily changed by tapping on the Buds, without having to manually adjust anything on the phone.

Improved connectivity with the Samsung ecosystem

The latest Galaxy Buds updates allow users to connect to other Samsung devices seamlessly.

Oracast

Last year, Samsung introduced Auracast technology to Samsung Smart TVs on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. Auracast transforms your TV[1] To a common radio station that can be broadcast to multiple buds. With the latest update, this feature is now also available on select phones[2]including the Galaxy S24 series.

360 audio

The best audio puts users at the heart of the action. 360 Audio delivers surround sound from all directions. 360 Audio was previously only supported on phones, tablets, and computers, but it's now available for TVs as well[3]Making it possible to create a cinematic experience at home. Galaxy Buds can also track head movements for a compelling, immersive soundscape.

Automatic switching

When users watch their Samsung TV with Galaxy Buds and receive a call, Auto Switch automatically transfers the connection to their Galaxy phone. When the call ends, the call resumes again. With the latest update, Samsung has expanded this functionality to include personal computers[4]including the Galaxy Book4 series, so users can easily enjoy high-quality sound on a variety of Samsung devices.

The future is loud and clear

The latest Galaxy AI update and gradually enhanced connectivity software update will be available on Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Buds2 and Buds FE from the end of February.[5]. Samsung continues to evolve the Galaxy Buds series for smart, high-quality, seamlessly connected audio – anytime, anywhere, across any connection.
