Erling Haaland is one award richer. On Saturday night, he won the Champions League with Manchester City after a sleepless thriller.
It’s been a pretty crazy season for Erling Haaland. In all competitions, he’s scored 52 goals in 53 matches, which is insane.
But in the final? No, he couldn’t make his mark in the final. He was absent throughout the match, and Kevin De Bruyne’s failure was also a sip on a drink.
The Norwegian striker didn’t really care after that, because winning trophies as a team is the most important thing. And so he replied clearly.
22 years
“Don’t forget, I’m only 22. What were you doing when you were 22?” , he asked loudly for the news after the final.
“In my craziest dreams I wouldn’t have dared to think of this. It just goes to show that it’s possible for a boy from a small village in Norway. This would give hope to the people of my country, it’s incredible.”
“Don’t forget I’m 22, think back to when you were 22…”
