Progressive lenses are the most innovative on the market and are developed using artificial intelligence. The reason behind doing our best while launching the product. Fast Forward Events, a reputable event agency from Belgium, took over the organization. The agency equipped the conference venue in Jarpurs with LED screens, projection screens, touch screens and OLED screens to present the product.
Thoughtful down to the last detail
“Our focus was not on the launch, but also on the support that EssilorLuxottica offers to optometrists,” says Louise Versavel, Project Manager at Fast Forward Events. “Every aspect of the event was designed for this purpose. For example, there were several ultra-modern screens where you could Visitors discover the new product interactively. In addition, videos and instructions for optometrists were shown on how to present the product. It looked really cool.Communication between sales manager and optometrists was a very important aspect. So there was also the opportunity to communicate around dinner time. We chose to go out by the dishes rather than the buffet. This way no one had to stray away from the conversation. We really thought of every aspect in detail.
Perfect for product launches
Fast Forward Events specifically chose Jaarbeurs for several reasons. The unique look of the Polar Room is perfect for an ultra-modern product launch, but the central location, along with the train station and large parking area, is also a great asset. Louise: “Polar is an innovative space, it’s elegant and clean. That matches our goals. We also decorated it in the house colors by working with overhead lights. Jaarbeurs offered the right technical support. Visitors were also very impressed with the atmosphere. We got a lot of feedback on ‘U arrangement, where the stage was in the middle. The unusual setup turned out to be very flexible and ensure a smooth flow during the action.’
Stylish and modern place
It was Louise’s first time in Garboroughs, but not her last. She is very pleased with the site with its ample facilities and the way Jaarbeurs collaborates with its clients: “It amazes me that there are many industrial spaces in the Netherlands, like factories, and not many narrow sites that are well finished in terms of technical possibilities.. A narrow site is like “This is perfect for a product launch. I also think communication is important. There is nothing more difficult for an event manager than poor communication. Everything went very smoothly at Jaarbeurs and our Account Manager was happy to think of us.”
Slight cultural differences
When asked if she could give an example of how Jaarbeurs contributed ideas, she said: “An increasing number of clients are opting for a combination of events in different countries. This saves costs, because we only have to create the digital content once. The script requires some editing, sometimes Because of cultural differences. And it was good that Jarpurs was also mindful of this and thinking with us about how best to serve this particular target group. Because although cultural differences are not huge, they can have an impact. For example: in Belgium, we used to eat a little late and our account manager pointed out that in Holland it is customary to eat a little early. So we also provided snacks before plenary. This way no one went to the show hungry and we managed to get our attention. These are small details, but we are very happy that Jaarbeurs are actively involved.
