Everything you need to know about Apex Legends Upheaval – Trailer

Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment have released the trailer for Upheaval, a new season for the popular free-to-play shooter Apex Legends.

There was no new legend last season because Respawn Entertainment wanted to focus on improving the game. This time there is a new legend, Alter, a character called the embodiment of turmoil, because he has passed through many dimensions.

Alter has very interesting abilities that are shown briefly in the clip below. It seems to change the definition of Apex Legends. Alter skills are as follows:

• negative: Gift of the Rift – Her passive ability loots an item from the inventory of fallen enemies from a distance. The ability is great for switching weapons or suddenly summoning a Shield Battery.
• tactical: Empty Corridor – Alter’s tactical ability creates a portal to return enemies to a spawn room or quick escape.
• climax: Void Nexus – When players activate her ultimate ability, a device is placed on the ground that anyone on her team can use to open a one-way portal back to that specific location.

In addition to the new playable character, Apex Legends: Upheaval comes with even more content. This way, players can start Solo Takeover, a game mode that will replace Duo mode. Every legend has to fight for himself here.

In Broken Moon Statters mode, the nightmare becomes reality. Olympus crashes into Cleo’s stasis module. This results in major changes to the map with new points of interest and an evenly distributed battlefield. Furthermore, there are Apex Artifacts: Legends that can customize the theme, power source, and more for each variant using Exotic Shards. Finally, just like every new season, there’s also a new Battle Pass with free and premium tiers of rewards.
