look. What happened to us?

Lena disappeared a month ago, on September 23, in the late morning. Intensive searches have been conducted for her in recent weeks, but to no avail. Investigators have not yet found any serious evidence about what may have happened to the teenager.

Matteo Eroldi, Lina’s mother’s lawyer, sent a letter to the French news agency AFP in which he thanked “all the gendarmerie forces who did a wonderful job from the beginning.” She expressed her confidence in the investigating judges “who are working tirelessly to find Lina as quickly as possible.”

The mother said in the same letter that she was angry that Lina had not been found yet, but this anger also gave her the strength to continue searching. “My determination, my anger and my anger push me not to give up anything and to fight harder,” he said. “All the people around me and other citizens are my unwavering support and my strength in this terrible ordeal. Lina belongs to her family and I will not give up until she gets there.”

The Strasbourg prosecutor’s office opened a criminal investigation in early October. They warned at the time that the investigation would take “a significant amount of time” and said that “no avenue had been ruled out or prioritised”.
