It’s about Verstegen’s various spice blends: “ground lemongrass”, “Java mix of Nasi / Bami with ginger and lemongrass”, “Mix Saté” and “Mix Nasi / Bami goreng”. The herbs are sold out until April 7, 2022.
After the discovery, Albert Heijn also recalled the gourmet dish AH, which contained Verstegen lemongrass. Until today / April 8, this 550-gram gourmet dish in a plate with plastic foil is sold out. These products have an expiration date (TGT) 07/04/2022, 09/04/2022, 11/04/2022, 04/14/2022 and 04/16/2022.
Products can cause food infection and pose a health risk, especially in young children, the elderly, people with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women.
Therefore, FASFC and retail chains require that the products not be consumed and returned to the point of sale, where they will be exchanged or refunded. Anyone with health problems is asked to contact a doctor.
