It was exhausting, Thursday evening in local† In Antwerp, Beringen and Portmerbeek, the three remaining couples struggled with time to finish the living rooms of their homes. After all, they expected the jury to deliver a verdict. And “the jury is not there to be nice, but to be fair.” Judge for yourself.
Anais (21) and Cedric (23) in Antwerp
The main obstacle to remodeling their bedroom was poor planning. So Anais and Cedric want to finish the entire living room at any cost. They want to continue their bedroom style, including the now infamous moldings. An hour before the deadline, the tension was still there because Cedric had to install a heater himself.
Eileen (25 years old) and Jonah (28 years old) in Beringen
Eileen realized she was taking a risk when she put a strange and bold tangerine on the wall. “Once you draw that, there’s no going back.” A hole in her perfectly draped roof caused a small heart attack just before the finish line.
Alexia (28) and Emil (30) in Portmerbeek
There are no tangerine colors anywhere in Boortmeerbeek, even more so in shades of green. A homemade fireplace should become a masterpiece in Emiel & Alexia’s living room. This couple was also dreaming about molds out loud, but the dream soon turned into a nightmare.
The three-member jury issued its verdict on the renovations on Thursday night, and the winner of the main prize – an additional €2,000 renewal budget – will be announced in next Tuesday’s episode.
