A former colleague of controversial presenter Matthijs Van Nieuwkerk (62) testifies to RTL about the culture of fear on the set of ‘De Wereld Draait Door’. Makeup artist Jelik van Rikend has worked with Van Nieuwkerk for nine years. She was fired by him after he suspected her of collaborating on a publication in the weekly magazine “Privé”. The post about the atmosphere was in the collection of the program. He shouted that I was responsible for this post, in front of the entire crew.
