Belgian-Italian director Franco Dragone died of a heart attack in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. Claudine Cornet, one of his employees, reported this.

His name was later mentioned in the Panama Papers. Dragon has consistently denied these allegations and promised to provide greater transparency. Two years ago, Dragon was diagnosed with leukemia, but recently expressed hope that he will soon be cured. Today he died of a heart attack.
