Rumors have been circulating for a while that this year’s new Call of Duty will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and thus it is a sequel to the game from 2019. At the time, the name of the shooter was already confusing, as of course there is modern warfare already in place. Will the second part be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022)? Not everything is perfect. Anyway, in the news, because well-known leaker Tom Henderson has shared potential details about both the campaign and its multiplayer in a new video.
First, he says that the second part takes place in Latin America, and that the cartels are in it. It also notes that a mod of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer was planned to be released at the same time as the mod for that game’s campaign, but that plan was cancelled. However, players, maps, and the like from the original Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer are now being used in the game’s unannounced 2019 sequel. Do you still get it?
Modern Warfare 2 (2022) will also receive a game mode very similar to Tarkov’s Escape. This mode is getting a new map, and somehow a link is being created here with Warzone. Exactly how this works is not clear.
Finally, the developer deals with the game’s artificial intelligence, which should make enemies and their teammates look more realistic in this year’s Call of Duty.
