4-year-old Raven Hamilton was playing outside in Carmarthen, Wales, when a dog appeared, jumped on her and bit her. She ended up in the hospital with serious injuries and had to undergo surgery.
Her mother, along with about ten other people, including children, witnessed the attack and tried to save her daughter by placing herself between the girl and the dog. An 18-year-old passerby was able to open the dog's mouth and pull the animal away. But at that point the dog had already sustained several wounds.
“It's terrible,” the mother said. woman. “We live on a cul-de-sac and Raven was playing in the street, like she does every day. Raven is autistic and non-verbal and loves to be outside, so we took her outside to play, like we do two or three times a day.”
“The dog was outside like always, and he literally jumped on her. We were about five feet away when it happened and there was no warning, he just attacked her. Everyone says there should have been a warning or something, but There was just nothing. No sign at all. “
The police confiscated the dog. The breed she belongs to has not been confirmed, but it will be an XL Bully or Pocket Bully. “The dog is being held in a kennel. The owner is cooperating with the investigation.”
