Paul Onuachu has to leave Southampton. The former KRC Genk striker no longer fits into the plans. It must be said: it is a golden opportunity to bring him in.
Southampton paid €18 million in the winter of 2023 – possibly costing KRC Genk the title at the time – for Paul Onuachu. The tall Nigerian has failed to make any progress in the Premier League.
Last season, Onuachu was loaned to Trabzonspor. In Turkey, the striker regained his instincts. He was good for no less than seventeen goals and four assists.
However, Onuachu will not get another chance at Southampton. More: Saints The 30-year-old striker is up for sale. According to Turkish media, he could leave for 10 million euros. Trabzonspor wants, but cannot afford, to pay that amount.
