celebritiesStockard Channing, 79, best known for her role as Rizzo in the iconic film Grease, was recently spotted at the premiere of Medea at London’s West End theatre. Although those present had to look twice before they recognized her.
At the “Medea” event, which took place earlier this year, Stockard showed that she had long since transitioned from the short dark brown hair that was a characteristic of Rizzo. Instead, she opted for longer, lighter brown locks, which made her look completely different. ‘Grease’ has already been around for 45 years, so the appearance of an extra wrinkle is not surprising, but many fans were shocked by her appearance. Rumors are flying that she has already had some cosmetic procedures with a bad surgeon.
The movie “Grease”, undoubtedly, radically changed the lives of many actors and actresses. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John were the biggest stars, but there were other actors who left an indelible impression. One of them was Stockard Channing, who played Rizzo, the boss of The Pink Ladies.
Rizzo Stockard made her a real star, very convincingly playing an 18-year-old college girl, even though she was 34 at the time. Her talent and versatility as an actress was later recognized when she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Six Degrees of Separation in 1993.
