Kiev: the army advanced approximately 1.7 kilometers south (east) south
The Ukrainian military claims that forces in the south and southeast of the country have advanced 1.7 kilometers in a week. This is what Colonel Mykola Urshalovich told reporters.
Orshalovic says that the troops have now moved near the occupied city of Melitopol. The colonel says it is a difficult area to advance because there are many mines and the Ukrainian forces are under constant fire from the Russians. With the help of tanks, the Ukrainians were able to occupy a piece of land. The colonel says that Ukrainian forces are also preparing for an offensive near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.
