Today, the United Kingdom begins a period of about ten days of mourning after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday afternoon. The British Queen passed away peacefully, with her son Charles and daughter Anne at her side. Unfortunately, her other sons and grandchildren arrived too late. King Charles III, as her successor will be officially called, is still currently in the Balmoral estate in Scotland, but today is traveling to London with Camilla – the Queen’s wife. He will be sworn in before Parliament and will address the nation. Follow all the developments on our live blog here.
