Google is rolling out an update to its Contacts app and this update comes with a new tab with useful information.
The Contacts app gets a Highlights tab
Through the update, the Contactsapp for Android, a new section called Highlights consisting of Favorites and Recent. At the top, you see the people you’ve added to favourites, including clear photos. You can also instantly add new contacts to favourites. You can do this through the three points. With this, Google takes care of displaying favorites in a file Phoneapp about. This application immediately starts a window with your favorite contacts.
New layout with lighting section
At the bottom of this page, you’ll find the contacts you’ve recently viewed or added, including the date. With the three dots, you can delete the list of recently viewed contacts if desired. Solution and management can also be found in the navigation bar. As far as we are concerned, this part should have been placed elsewhere in the application as this functionality is not used very often.
