‘I felt like a piece of meat’: Actor Scott Patterson angry at a scene from ‘Gilmore Girls’ | Television

TelevisionActor Scott Patterson (63) is angry over a spot scene from the Gilmore Girls series. “I didn’t dare say anything at the time, but I felt bad about it,” he says in an interview with iHeart.

From 2000 to 2007, Scott Patterson played restaurateur Luke Danes in the series “Gilmore Girls”. A role he’s not completely satisfied with at the moment. This mainly concerns one particular scene.

In an episode of the series’ third season, Luke Patterson comes to repair the stove of his beloved Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham). Before that, he was lying on the floor in dark blue jeans. During the scene, the camera is fully focused on the actor behind it. In which the surrounding characters have profuse conversation on the subject: “I accidentally touched his back now, but he looks so pretty” and “You have your ass really nice,” is the voice of the surrounding women in the scene.

In a recent interview with iHeart, Patterson said that he was actually very uncomfortable while filming the scene. I wasn’t at peace with her and hated that scene. I had to learn this script, rehearse the scene, and reshoot a few times. This is what the entire production was looking for. Just awful. He continued, “I didn’t say anything because it was my job and I didn’t want to make a fuss. But I felt like a piece of meat.”
