Assizes 4 – The Star Murder tells the story of influential culinary journalist Hubert Van Parijs, who is found dead in his home. At first one thinks of a natural death, but the autopsy indicates poisoning. The investigation leads to chef Lucien Falk of the star restaurant Chez Lulu. Shortly before his death, Hubert put a review in the newspaper describing the restaurant as “not worthy of a star”.
