The 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was shot to death on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. The American President was sitting with his wife, Jacqueline, and Texas Governor John Connally and his wife, Nellie, in a convertible car that was part of the presidential motorcade that passed through the streets of Dallas. Kennedy was mortally wounded during the 16-kilometre journey. The entire nation was in shock. A commission determined that the perpetrator, Lee Harvey Oswald, acted alone. But that hasn’t stopped many conspiracy theories from continuing to spread to this day, exactly 60 years after Kennedy’s death. A photo overview of how the president’s fateful last day passed.
