Investigators consider the notorious serial killer as the prime suspect in two unsolved murder cases | outside

American Dennis Reeder, better known as the BTK serial killer, is believed to be the prime suspect in two unsolved murders: one in Oklahoma and one in Missouri. This week, investigators searched the area of his former property in Kansas.

In December last year, the investigation into Cynthia Kinney’s disappearance was reopened. The 16-year-old cheerleader disappeared in 1976 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Sheriff Eddie Verden told KAKE-TV that new alarms had been installed in the laundry room where Kenny was last seen at the time. Rader was working as an installer for ADT at the time. Investigators have not yet been able to confirm whether Rader actually installed the new system.

The serial killer is also the prime suspect in the Shauna Beth Garber case. The lifeless body of a 22-year-old woman was discovered in 1990 in McDonald County, Missouri. An autopsy report shows that the young woman had been tied up, raped and strangled nearly two months earlier.

This week, investigators excavated near Ryder’s former property. At the moment the results are not yet known. The sheriff just wants to say that “some significant items” have been found. Al-Sharif also refuses to disclose any other information about the rest of the investigation.

Ryder was active as a serial killer between 1974 and 1991. He called himself “BTK,” an acronym for “Bind, Torture, and Kill.” And at home he kept “souvenirs”, just think of the underwear he had stolen from some of the victims. And on a business card that he had hidden inside a book, he kept writing how he was going to commit the next murder.

Ryder also gets fired for playing a cat-and-mouse game with the police. For example, send messages to the media and leave some clues in public. One library book even gave a detailed description of how an entire family was killed.

On February 16, 2005, the perpetrator sent a floppy disk containing criminal content to KSAS-TV. However, the police also found a deleted Word document related to the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Turns out the script was last modified by a certain Dennis. The necessary detective work eventually led to Ryder.
