Jennifer Lawrence feared for her life during a horrific journey in 2017.
The Oscar-winning actress remembers taking a private plane from Kentucky to New York in the summer of 2017 when the plane had to make an emergency landing in Buffalo.
“My skeleton was all that was left on the chair,” Jennifer told Vanity Fair in an interview.
One of the aircraft’s two engines failed, so the emergency landing had to be done with only one engine. “We will all die,” she says. “I started leaving little voice messages for my family. I had a great life, I’m sorry. I just felt guilty. Everyone will be very sad.”

Jennifer began to pray as soon as she saw the runway full of ambulances and firetrucks. “Oh my God, will we survive this? I will be a burn victim, this will be painful, but perhaps we will survive.”
Fortunately all went well. The plane hit the runway, bounced back, and hit the runway again before coming to a stop. Rescue teams smashed the plane door and got everyone out safely.
