Jens Dendoncker will soon be back on TV in a new season of “How Will I Say It?”. After the difficult period that the comedian experienced, the film also took into account the fact that he had to find a balance between rest, activity and the stress involved.
“That’s right. But this season I have a co-presenter with Jeroen Verdyk,” Jens says in a conversation with Johann Teren for VTM. “I know Jeroen very well, because he has been my show support for years, and we have been good friends for many years. That was the limit.”
“There was also a buggy in the set, very American. So if I wanted to pull out for a while or had to rest for a while, I could always do it,” says Janes. “It was a huge luxury.”

Although he wasn’t always happy, Janes sometimes had to pretend to be. “Sometimes it’s just about turning the knob, but it helps if you’re in that atmosphere,” he says. “The camera is in, they got you dirty, you worked for that moment in so little time… then the adrenaline is flowing through your body. It helps give you a boost to start it. This was very welcome to finish it and try.”
Recordings sometimes demand a lot of energy from Jens. “More than before, I have to be honest about that. But even before that, the planning adapted to my needs and I could always count on a day of rest when there were a number of difficult days. This is how we approached it a little bit.”
