And after Roma won the second leg last night, it turns out Jose Mourinho hasn’t forgotten Jupp Schroeder. The NOS journalist received a Conference Cup keychain from the Portuguese with the AS Roma crest on it.
“I have a present for you. Lovely, isn’t it?” Mourinho smiled, repeating his advice from last week. “Don’t cry over defeat. Think about the next game.”
The Portuguese also paid tribute to Feyenoord. “I want to congratulate them. It’s a good team, with good players and a good coach. They will become champions and they made it very difficult for us.”
