At least three of the commandos who killed critical journalist Jamal Khashoggi live in luxury in Riyadh. A source in Saudi intelligence said this Watchman. However, the men were convicted for the violent murder of Khashoggi, but are not in prison for it.

One of them was Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy, a forensic doctor working for the Ministry of Interior. Tubaigy is one of three men seen in a luxury location in Riyadh, away from prison, and is living his life in peace.
This revelation raises the suspicion that justice has not actually been served in the case. The Saudi government has never revealed where the convicts are serving their sentences, and many international observers say this is because Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the killing because Khashoggi felt he had written highly critical of the Saudi government.
