Justin Bieber raises rumours: Will the singer get back together with Usher during the Super Bowl? | music

musicFans of Justin Bieber (29) are convinced the singer will make a comeback during Usher's (45) halftime show during the Super Bowl. Justin Bieber has sparked rumors after he suddenly started sharing videos of himself singing on Instagram again.

In early 2023, Justin Bieber, on the advice of his doctors, canceled his world tour. Bieber suffered from physical and mental problems as a result of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome (facial paralysis, ed.). This temporarily paralyzed part of his face. He took a step back for a while, but now he seems to be breathing new life into his singing career. For example, he once again shared videos of himself singing. This also fuels rumors about a potential return. What's more: fans are convinced he'll be back alongside Usher on Sunday. “Can you perform at the Super Bowl with Usher please…” one fan pleaded in the comments. “It would be great,” he continued. “He will do it.”

In 2010, Justin Bieber and Usher topped the global charts with their song “Somebody to love”. Asher was his mentor for a long time. But whether the two will meet again on the Super Bowl stage remains unclear. “I want to play songs that people recognize and songs that I celebrate,” Usher confirmed to Extra about his show. “It's going to be a big party.” The singer didn't want to say more about his halftime show plans at the moment.

The Super Bowl will be held on February 11 in Las Vegas. The match is usually the most watched program on American television. This year, R&B star Usher will perform at the halftime show. This puts him in the ranks of his illustrious predecessors such as Rihanna, The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, and Lady Gaga. Last year, 121 million people watched Rihanna's show on television. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's 2020 performance attracted the most viewers on YouTube, with more than 300 million views.

Dutchman Tiësto will be the first DJ ever to play during next month's Super Bowl. He will perform before the game and during breaks on the field. Some of his combinations can be seen during the TV taping of the match and Tiësto himself will be broadcasting the whole thing live on social media.
