King Charles is not on the climate summit after the prime minister’s objection

The hype is also sending another bad signal about the new government’s environmental agenda. Critics fear Truss will scale back the previous administration’s commitments. It has reiterated its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050, but has no plans to go to Egypt, for example.
