celebritiesLady Gaga, 37, refuses to pay a finder’s fee for her two French towns, which were stolen in 2021 and then safely returned by Jennifer McBride. The singer claims it is a fraud plot and demands that the case be dropped.
During a robbery at Lady Gaga’s Hollywood dog walker two years ago, the thieves took French bulldogs Koji and Gustav with them. A third dog, Miss Asia, escaped during the kidnapping and was later found. Koji and Gustav were returned safely to the Los Angeles Police Station after Lady Gaga promised a $500,000 reward via Twitter. “Honest” researcher Jennifer McBride expected to receive the reward money, but hasn’t gotten it yet. This is why she filed a complaint against the singer for breach of contract and fraud through false promises. She claims that Lady Gaga cheated on her. The animals were delivered with the promise of no questions asked. McBride is seeking compensation for legal costs, financial losses, and mental anguish.

But Gaga’s lawyers claim McBride was part of a plot to steal animals and are now calling for the case to be dropped. Gaga’s lawyers say: “Prosecutor Jennifer McBride wants to benefit from her participation in a crime.” “The law does not permit a person to commit a crime and then benefit from it.”
At the time of the dogs’ return, McBride claimed she came across the dogs on the street and “had no idea” they belonged to Gaga. But during a judicial investigation, she fell through the basket. She was indeed an accomplice and was soon caught as one of the dog thieves. Several dog thieves have already been sentenced to four years in prison and 21 years for the shooting of Ryan Fisher. Gaga’s motion to dismiss the case will be heard on July 10.
