Leader struggles to balance work-life and bike: “The time my family now has to bike with me is increasing”

Everyone is Flanders

Confession: I’ve already trained everyone’s Flandrien with the Speed Beadlik. That fast e-bike had to be reviewed and wouldn’t test itself. Enough kilometers with that test bike and 3 to 4 times a week on a race bike, that’s a lot of riding hours. So I put on my heart rate monitor for a test drive and maximum fat burn.

If I’m training in the intense zone, I pick up the lowest support and jump, so even with a lot of force under my butt, my heart rate goes up. Are you afraid of speed or because I am moving? This is how I calm myself down between compromises. Because they are looking to incorporate those time consuming workouts into your life. Was this emergency action related to work, the time my family now has to share with me by bike also added up. Fortunately, my three legs are my biggest supporters. With the increase of offspring, the area also increases.

At first, this hobby seemed ideal for them to pursue after their bedtime, but it turns out that it only works for that month when long enough has passed. And before that bedtime began to change. Same with sharing this hobby with your husband. Sounds cool, but we never really train together – we keep a babysitter for the other ceremonies. But we got creative. Sometimes I leave them alone at home. If we are going to have a barbecue with friends in Ghent, we will add a night in a hotel. And the easy 3-hour endurance training that I didn’t want to miss the next day? It turned out after 3.5 hours by bike from Ghent’s house. With three treasures waiting for me rested upon arrival.
