Will we see Evan Leko return to training in our country soon? If it depends on the Croatian himself, sure. The former coach of Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp, among others, leaves no doubt that he is considering a return.
At the end of 2020, Liko surprised everyone by leaving Antwerp and heading to China, where he works as a coach for the port of Shanghai. He still has a contract there until the end of 2022. So a return to Belgium is an option.
He says: “Belgium is my second home.” La Dernière Heure† Says: “My family is still there, so I’m sure I’ll be back as a coach. I can’t tell you when now.”
Leko ended up in our country in 2005 and almost lived in our country until 2020. He played as a player at Club Brugge, Germinal Berchot and KSC Lucerne. After his playing career, he was still coach for Oud-Heverlee Leuven, STVV, Club Brugge and Antwerp.
