“When I first put on the costume, I thought for the first time, ‘Oh, wow, I’m really doing this. I’m really a batgirl. It’s still hard for me to say that. It’s surreal.” This tells actress Leslie Grace in a conversation with Variety. She has just returned to the United States after filming “Batgirl,” the new superhero movie directed by our compatriots, Adel and Bilal. In the print version, Grace is surrounded by celebrities from the world of cinema. For example, JK Simmons plays her father, Brendan Fraser plays the villain Firefly, and Michael Keaton appears as Batman himself. They are openly “Batman freaks”. He is Batman. I couldn’t believe we were in the same room. I want to say more, but I can’t,” she laughs. “But it’s a dream come true.”
Grace is still not sure if there will be a second “Batgirl” movie. “We still have to see the first movie, huh. But there’s definitely talk of what that second movie could be. I’ve already seen some of the footage we shot and that’s cool. So we’re really talking about how to continue the story, because there’s a lot going on in this The movie. It’s not just about the action. There’s also a love story and a relationship between a father and daughter.”
“Batgirl” will air on HBO Max later this year.
