showbizHe barely arrived from Ibiza and could immediately exchange beach clothes for prison clothes. Lil Klein must return to prison, this is the court’s ruling on appeal against the suspension of his pre-trial detention. The council chamber sees objections serious enough to hold him for longer on charges of attempted serious assault. The rapper will remain in police custody for 14 days.
Lil Klein came to court in Amsterdam this afternoon, accompanied by his lawyer, Ninke Hogerforst. Juric Schulten, the real name of the rapper, was received by the media. He was present at a closed session regarding the appeal of his release submitted by the Public Prosecution.
The rapper was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of assaulting his fiancée Jimmy Weiss. It was two days after a judge sentenced him to 120 hours of community service for kicking a man in a nightclub. After three nights in prison, the investigative judge decided to suspend his pretrial detention. However, the Public Prosecution Office found that there were serious enough objections to detain him for a longer period.
Lil Klein is said to have jammed the head of his fiancée Jimmy Weiss, with whom he has son Leo (2), between the car door. Pictures of her spread on social media.
After the news of the arrest, the youth channel FunX announced that it will not be playing music from the artist for the time being. Streaming platform Spotify has removed its songs from aggregated playlists and drinks brand Fiorito has permanently discontinued collaboration. Former record label TopNotch decided to stop promoting his music and his new music company Sony Music canceled the contract.
Ninky Hoggerforest, Lil Klein’s attorney, says he doesn’t want to respond to the court’s decision.
