Up to 350,000 visitors are expected to attend Gamescom in Cologne, the world’s largest gaming industry trade show. Limburg studios AlterEyes and Rogue6 are there to show off their skills to international visitors and learn something from world stars in their sector.
The world’s largest gaming fair is a conglomeration of all things digital entertainment and gaming culture. More than 1,400 exhibitors compete for as much attention as possible on an area the size of 32 football pitches. One of them is Peter Op de Beek, CEO of gaming studio Hasselt AlterEyes. He runs the only Limburg stand in the Belgian pavilion, which is located in the basement of the fair building. His company launched its virtual reality game Big Shots a week ago, and so far it has had “very good” results. There is still a lot to be expected of him.

Also present at Gamescom is the gaming company Rogue6 from Heers. The core team is there to have their game tested by international experts.
