The first leg match ended with Benfica and Liverpool. In the second half, Vertonghen and his teammates were unable to correct the defect. We achieve a logical win for Liverpool.

Finally moving from Liverpool. Henderson kicks the ball in front of goal, but Diaz can’t get a skin between the crossbars.
Just like in the first half, Liverpool have more possession of the ball, but they don’t do much with it. On the other hand, Benfica is advancing at every opportunity.
Benfica still has 10 minutes to equalise.
In tonight’s other quarter-final between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, no one but Kevin De Bruyne takes the lead. It’s 1-0.

Nunez fell after a wide arm from Van Dijk. The Portuguese shouted for a penalty, but referee Manzano did not deserve a penalty. Liverpool will get away with it!
